i am slowly but surley reaching the end of my teather with harrisons nursery teacher.

He has since September had two school jumpers and 3 pairs of pumps plus a hat and scarf set go missing

I know and expect a certain amount of stuff to go walkies but not this much the jumpers cost £9.50 each and pumps are £4 a pop

I have always put iron on name labels and written him name on the tags with a fabric pen and put names in all his pumps but they still dont stop them from going walkies all his teacher says is 'well there are so many children its expected that things get mislayed or are taken by someone else by mistake' argh so fustrated i am sick of asking other parents to check their kids bags for his missing stuff

When harry comes home in someone elses jumper its always washed and returned the next day, and if he has an extra pump its returned to its rightful owner

what can i do if anything i am sick of replacing stuff its costing a bomb

I'm afraid it's the joys fo parenting, but personally if I was paying for a nursery place, I would withold the fees if school things were not sent home, and thise you do get hold of, kepp hold of and return at the end of term, that way at least he will have a spare one! Sorry it's not much help, but I've lost track of the number of things my kids have lost and misplaced or been taken by other kids!  Believe me it gets worse in secondary school!

how annoying. ive used a permanent marker pen on all of maxs items for nursery.  so far nothing has gone missing.  im not sure what to suggest lovey.  i dont blame you for being angry with the school.  you would have thought that the mums would be responsible enough to return your items to you.

zo x

oops gotta lil boy to pick up from nursery now....
