Well it has finally arrived - Ellis is finishing up at nursery today and is starting Primary School a week on Tuesday!

I dropped her off this morning and they are planning a wee farewell party for her - I had to leave very swiftly this morning due to my eyes welling up and bottom lip trembling uncontrollably!

I still can't really believe its happening - my baby is no longer a baby and is now a big girl - argh help!!

I am going to be a disaster when I go to pick her up at lunch time - even worse is that my mum is coming too and she's worse than me

Anyway Ellis is all set for school and very excited - but I think its now dawning on her that she isn't going back to nursery ever again! Shes a bit sad about not seeing her teacher again but is sooo looking forward to starting school.

Anyway wish me luck for this afty and I have my hankies at the ready lol

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Aww bless her!

They do grow up fast dont they! I'm sure she'll have a fab time starting school!

I hope it all goes ok collecting her and it isnt too emotional for you. I'm sure her teacher wouldnt mind if Ellis popped back in occassionally to say hello!

Hugs babe!

You're not alone Fee

When Harrison finished his nursery class in July I was really emotional, it's a big step.

Im sure Ellis will love her new school just as much as her nursery!

Good luck and have the hankies ready Login or Register to view images  lolol

Well its done

It was very emotional and even worse because all the nursery teachers started crying when she was hugging them!

Ellis was lovely and said bye to all her wee friends and hugged everyone - bless her.

I shed a few tears (discreetly!) but my mum was bawling

Just so proud of my big girl - shes such a lovely girl (I am biased lol)and I love her so much

Sorry very emotional today and feeling very sentimental

Got to go through it all again in a week or so when she has her first day at Big School!
