I'm sat here wondering how ds1's first day at college went!  He moved his stuff down to moms yesterday, he went off great, and apparently needs to work the buses out properly (he was very early, so dad went to pick him up! lol), mom and dad obviously know how his day has gone, and he's gone to visit mil to let her know all about his first day, dh will find out as he is at his moms, yet he has yet to call me and let me know!  I'm sat here with tears in my eyes, just like I was with his first day of school.  Bless him, I worry so much, now I understand why my parents always say you never stop worrying!  I'm so chuffed for him, but so gutted that I'm losing my very first baby!

Well done Arwel you have made me a very proud mom!

Aw Vix, he's proberbly that excited and his head is rushing round with things from his first day, he'll call you later.

I hope he enjoys collage, one thing my mum said to me is when you have a son, never expect them to fly the nest as the return almost as quickly as they leave lolol

Glad he's made his mom proud

Yay had my phone call!  He told Grandma, Grampy, mil and dh before me.  He spent the whole day (apparently) filling in forms, and doesn't need to take anything besides his lunch tomorrow as he is going to be doing a 7 mile jog across the beach! lol  I've had loads of tears about my baby growing up, and he's already got a friend!  Shame his new mate is the other side of Anglesey, but he did notice that 2 of his police cadet friends are at the same college (but not on the same course).  So I am chuffed to bits, just need dh home now so I can cry some more! lol

Vix! You're supposed to tell us it gets easier! I cried when I dropped Noah and Ethan at school for the start of this term, I was hoping I could stop doing that by the time they hit 18!

Hope all goes well for your 'baby'! I'm sure he'll be just fine. The question is, will you?!

I'll tell you in 2 yrs if it's any easier at 18!  I think it's more because he's my first.  I haven't been like this with ds2 or dd, having said that I know dd wants to go to university!  I'm sure I'm bound to embarass her! lol  The worst thing is I think I'll be like this with Fred and Winston!  I don't think I'll ever be fine with ds1!  He was so excited on the phone, and the lucky thing gets a day off on Friday!   Probably just a first week thing, but who knows! lol
