  Dh has just taken Kirstin to a and e with a suspected appendicitus. She has been ill since yesterday when we took her to our gp who said she had either a problem with her colon or her appendix and if she got any worse to take her to hospital.

    Well that is them on their way. The weather is terrible, you wouldn't want to go out in this unless you have to. I am now stuck at home waiting for a phone call feeling pretty useless.

oh you poor thing! Hope she s ok and it just turns out to be a tummy bug and nothing more serious.

    They have kept her in overnight for observation so it is still a matter of waiting. I feel really bad as there is nothing we can do, as she is 16 she is on an adult ward and we are not suppose to visit until 3 this afternoon. I keep imagining her laying in her bed scared stiff. She has never had an operation before. I know she has got to grow up but she is still my baby and I want to be there for her.
