My nephew is having his leg op right now !! Am sitting on pins as they aren't sure how long he will be. My sister said she will call as soon as he is in recovery.

The poor lad is having his left leg broken, re-set and his calf muscle lengthened. Not nice at all. He is really hacked off cos he wont be able to do rugby for up to 6 months.

He didn't get out of theatre until after 10pm last night but he is up and about on his crutches and he's recovering so well they have said he can go home later today or tomorrow !!

awww bless him i'm glad the op's over and done with and all has gone well. He's doing well to be up and about and he sounds like he's mastered crutches better than i have and quicker too!
Hope he's got a lovely cast and a fab colour too...... i also hope the next few steps/stages in his treatment are relatively pain free and smooth flowing.....
