Bex as of yesterday, has left school BUT she is still going to sit her finals so that's the main thing. She really was miserable at school which is no excuse for all the lies and bunking off.
She is hoping to get into college in August at Inverness to do PE studies with a view to becoming a personnal trainer. She is going to be looking for a job as of Monday cos she is away this week to Glasgow with one of her friends and their Mum.
Have told her, that once she starts earning as it wont be a lot of money given her age, we wont expect her to pay board but she will have to pay her own bus fares, buy all her own personnal stuff and pay for her own lunches. She is quite happy about this.
Feel a bit sorry for her as she is kind of in limbo. Not quite and adult, but not a kid either.

Aww i remember this age. I left school and started work within about 2 weeks. I was doing my exams when i was working so sitting one then back to work lol. Thats really good that she isn't paying board. I did i think it was only a £5 a week but i knew what to expect and my money was more than enough for me at that age.

You might find once she has a job she might settle. The responsibility might shake her up abit!!!!

Good luck to her hope she finds something soon. xxxx

It must be so hard for you hun - and probably isnt helping your moods re: your earlier post.

I'm glad she has made some decisions and I hope that this is the change she needs to sort herself out.

Well done for supporting her through it.

Thanks ladies, xx.

I'm going to stand by her but not to the point of being a doormat for her. I can see a lot of mistakes between us but we were on our own for so long that there is a something between us that I hope will come back soon and I can enjoy spending time with her again.
