After all her promises etc, Bex has really done it this time.

As you know I haven't been too good lately and somedays I had to get her to go to the ATM to get money for me which I had no problem with as she never took out anymore than I asked her too.

Anyway, on Friday she said she was popping out. Off she goes and then comes back in, gets clothes and goes out again. Andy was at home and I was out in the back garden. Andy phoned up our bank to see if our DD's had come off and he asks me if I had nipped out to the ATM as a tenner had been taken out of our account. I hadn't left the garden.

Got the bank to trace it and Bex had gone in my handbag, took out my ATM card and helped herself !! She totally denied all this so I said if she can't tell the truth, then she better stay away. She came back on Saturday to collect some clothes so I confronted her upstairs away from the wee ones. Got the usual attitude from her and then she was right in my face screaming at me so I slapped her one.

Not proud of hitting her but I felt she deserved it. She then stormed out and refused to even talk to me. One of her mates came round and took all her clothes which I had bagged up in a fit of rage. She now wants nothing to do with me at all and is refusing to come home as long as I am here ! Erm, it's my house !!

Rant over.

Awww bless you babes not good.

It was nice whilst it lasted by the sounds of it but to go behind your back is down right nasty and i'm sure if she's asked you would have probably said yes.

As for slapping her i know what you mean but as far as i feel on the situation you where just giving her a piece of her own medicine.

Hope she wakes up and stops acting like a wotsit for you soon hun as i'm sure you don't need the stress.

Hugs and i hope your feeling a little better now x

hiya hun im so sorry for the way things have panned out with bex,its not good and it must be hard but if it makes you feel any better i think i would have reacted exactly the same...i think you should let bex come to you now when she understands that she has  done wrong....she cannot treat you like that and the sooner she realises the better....let us know what happens xx

Hi Hazy,

I'm sorry Bex's behaviour has gotten to this stage. I agree, she shouldn't be allowed to get away with stealing money from you like that, just because your her mother.
It doesn't make any difference whether it was only a tenner or a hundred that she took, that fact is she has betrayed your trust, which im sure means more to you than the money does!
She will calm down.. and she will be back.
Once she has thought it over, i hope she realises the big mistake she has made.

Sorry to hear things are like this for you again with Bex - not an easy thing to deal with. She does need to realise that what she did was downright stealing, and a huge abuse of your trust in using your pin number without your consent. I would let her cool off, and hopefully realise how wrong she was - don't upset yourself about slapping her - you are being pushed to your limit by her behaviour, it may take a shock like that to get through to her. I really wish you the best of luck in dealing with her. Sending you a big hug Hazy.

xxx
