Well ds1 is almost ready to start driving, bless him, he nearly hit a tree, and the side of my house in my car, but hey, at least he only stalled it 9 times today in 20 minutes! lol  So far I am the only one willing to let him sit in the driving seat, it does help we have a lengthy drive however he has only managed to get 3 car lengths from the house.  Mean mum that I am, I make him start ing reverse, and turn the car round!

Awww Vix.. I wish him lots of luck with his driving.. i think with you as his instructor, he's gonna need it lolololol
Bless, 9 times in 20 minutes aint so bad for a first attempt.
With more practise he should get the hang of it soon.
I hope you have home insurance.. which covers accidental, tempermental teenage destruction, if not.. i would get some
Good Luck to you both.

lol i remember my first experience behind the wheel, i was ahem 17 *cough*

Andy thought i should try it out, so i did, i hit the gas, lifted the clutch and then asked what the wheel was for (d'oh!) i nearly hit a tree! I seriously thought it was just to hold onto! I never watched my mum drive so never really thought about it lol.

At least he wasn't THAT bad! Good luck to him!
