Well after the rant I had the other day, I wanted to let you all know just how good my kids can be.  Ds1 is a changed lad since going to work, he came home tonight and cooked supper for him and his dad, I don't think dh has had such a nosh up in ages.  Dd found a computer online tat she would like, so I have paid for it, and she has transferred the money from her account into mine.  And then you have ds2.  He doesn't have a job during the holidays as he wants to be home to help his dad, so during teh weekdays while the others are working he helps me.  Now when the others are here is the biggest handful of them all, but when he's on his own with me and the 2 little ones, he out does himself.  I can't praise him high enough.  He has entertained them, played with them, cooked for them and been beaten up, and stood on (all in play of course), and on top of that he changes dirty nappies without whining.  Even though the day has been absolutely manic, and we have had several times of the little ones going off on some serious strops, I can honestly say that today has been a good day. 

So thank you kids for being great when I really needed it.

Its amazing how at the times when we wonder how we will cope our kids remind us just why we love them so much and why it is all worth it.

You should be so proud of yourself Vix - your children are a credit to you.

I'm glad things have been so much better today - long may it continue.

You've got a fantastic brood there Vix, they are doing you proud hunny.  Im so glad you have the 'in house' help and support, as you know, that goes a long long way.
