She seemed to have settled of late, but 30 mins ago, I got a phone call from her guidence tutor asking if everything is ok at home? I was like what? She said that Bex has been off school 2 days last month and 2 this month with no absence note.
This morning however, Bex handed in a note supposedly from Andy saying that there are family problems.
1. There are no family problems.
and
2. I take care of Bex sick notes etc, Andy has never written one for her.

It might not mean that shes in any trouble but shes obviously skipped school without ur permission

I handed in a few forged notes from my mum in my teenage years but i never had any problems at school, i guess i gav in 2 peer pressure. Also the reason she gav on the note (im pressuming either her or a friend wrote it) is usually flawless cause teachers dont like 2 ask questions

I wouldnt worry 2 much but definately confront her about it, try not 2 sound angry. I think the fact uv found out might b enough 2 shock her in2 not doing it again

She is probably just falling under peer pressure. The reason the note is from Andy is because she knows the teacher will recognise your handwriting. That is probably why they called you, because they were thinking she may have faked it.

I would wait until you and Andy are both at home and then ask her if you can talk to her. Try and speak to her like an adult and not shout as you are likely to get further with her that way. Ask her why and tell her you are dissapointed with her, this will sink in much more than you being angry with her. She might just be struggling with a subject and didnt want to tell you, or she may have fallen in with the wrong crowd. Either way you need to find out what the problem is before it goes further.

Good luck hun xxx

Thanks ladies. Will def do the calm but stern approach as I've lost it in the past and gets me nowhere.
