Well today instead of taking ds2 with him on the farm dh has left me with a helper (which he isn't very often) and has taken dd with him.  Ds1 has got a chance to work, so he's not here either.  I was dreading it, but wow am I learning!

Ds2 has kept Fred happy (stressed me out) by banging on an upturned bucket!  Fred has been having a whale of a time, and whereas neither me, ds1 or dd have managed to keep fred away from the cupboard he can open, ds2 has done a fantastic job.  He told him to close it then said good boy when he did, and he hasn't gone near it since!  Wow I am impressed!

Prehaps he should stay at home more often, or get a voice recording of him telling Fred to close the door,

I am convinced the more kids you have the better off you are leaving home and letting them look after each other.  My brother has 6 children and they all look after each other really well.  The older ones know what they are allowed to do and not to do and they teach the younger ones much better and with a lot less stress than my brother does lol.

I think we might come and move in on your farm Vix with the caravan then your kids can have Ols too

I kind of agree there too Sam, although I already look like a bad mum at dd's school as she just takes over whether I want her to or not, and then tells everyone at school how much she does and how little I do! lol  Ds2 I can trust to teach Fred right, but ds1 is teaching him all the wrong things, it wouldn't surprise me if he taught him to open the cupboard in the first place! lol
