Is she actually after something? Make the most of this time to talk with her babe she might just be sucking up for something but praising her and thanking her could actually really help the situation your both in xxxx

She's angling to go out on Saturday night to the youth cafe disco. It's for under 18's and supervised. I did sit her down and explain again why she was banned from doing things etc and that I was very hurt and disappointed in her recent behaviour. She agreed that she has been awful but couldn't really explain why, just said she gets angry and I'm usually the one in the firing line.
She then went on to say that she will go and sit in her room if she feels a rage coming on in the future.

oh hazy that sounds like such progress, oh i feel so proud of both of you. Im glad you are finally able to talk! Maybe you could have another talk with her, agree to let her go on Saturday, if her behaviour stays improved, and then take events week by week, if she messes up she doesnt get the rewards the following week etc xxxx

Oh Hazy I'm so pleased! I really hope this is the turning point for you both. Use these times to 'make friends' with her and also to inforce your reasoning behind the rules you set.
Hopefully rewarding good behaviour and punishing bad will work for you both in future!

Awww Hazy that is excellent! I have to admit I also enjoy it when mine are in suck up mode too! Hope she manages to keep to what she has said. And that the improvement is long term not short term for you!

We have days were they promise to do what they are told and they do, to get what they want and then after they get it, its back to normal.
Hope it is different for you.
