At long last I have decided to teach ds1 a lesson about what time he sets his alarm clock!  Having woken up at 5:30 with Winston needing a feed, I was ready to go back to sleep having settled him back down in his moses basket, when I heard a LOUD alarm clock go off!  Seeing as though dh and I never set our alarm (we have Winston) ds2 and dd don't have one, so I went into ds1's bedroom wondering how long it would take him to turn it off!  Well it continued, and it woke Fred up!  I made ds1 turn his alarm clock off, and said if Fred didn't settle, then he would be getting up!  I went back to bed hoping that Fred would settle! well that didn't happen!  So I went in and got ds1! lol  I told him if he wanted his alarm clock to go off that early, then he would get up that early!  Especially seeing as though he woke Fred up! lol  Hence why I am sat here typing at this unearthly time of the morning!  But I had so much much fun kicking him out of bed, it was well worth getting up at the same time! rofl

Maybe now he'll think before he sets his alarm too early and then go back to sleep! lol

He definitely wasn't smiling, but he has said he won't set his alarm clock that early again!  I know he was tired yesterday, so I'm hoping with getting up early, and working a 6 hour shift in a busy cafe on bank holiday weekend will really tire him out!  Trying to get him to sleep at night is like watching paint dry!  He doesn't seem to need much sleep! lol

Good for you. They all deserve a shock sometimes. I am my dds alarm clock and she still doesn't get up until the last possible minute however many times I shout at her.

LOL, LOL good for you ! I did the same thing to Bex once. She sets her alarm for 6.30 as she just can't get up in the mornings. I asked her to change the time as it was waking Sophie and Adam up and she didn't, so I sent both of them into her room and let them both jump all over her. She has now changed it to 7.30 am, lol.

Rich has a terrible habit at weekends of not turning the alarm clock off which wakes me up and I can never get back off to sleep.

It seems the lesson was learnt I haven't heard ds1's alarm clock!  However Fred's internal one seems to be working cos he was screaming at 6am! lol  One day I'll have an early night and a lie in, don't know when but one day!
