Mine and DP's song is Bram Van 3000 - Drinking in LA

As it was playing when we first met and always seemed to be on when we first got together

The only other song which has any value to me is

Billy Joel - River of Dreams as it played at Grandads funeral (sorry bit morbid lol)

Yay Amarillo!!  Big up, Peter Kay!

Our first song is the most unromantic song ever - the Prodigy's Firestarter!

We used to dance crazy to it as students.

My song to Max is Christina Aguilera's 'Beautiful'.  I would turn it up loud and sing it to him when he was bouncing about in my belly.  It always brings a tear to my eye when I hear it.

My song for Tom is James Blunt's 'Your Beautiful'.  I think it is a gorgeous song and it makes me think of my love for him.

The song we chose for our first dance at our wedding is Eva Cassidy's 'Song Bird'.  The lyrics say it all.

Yazz and the Plastic Polulation - the only way is up was no 1 when I got my GCSE results, my sis bought it me as a well done pressie!!

Al Green - Lets stay together - as that was the song the surgeon had on when Ella was born! They were singing too!!

N-Trance, set you free - cos it always makes me smile.

And Busted songs cos a) I love them! and b) I used to listen to them in the car and sing along when I was on the way to the hospital to have a scan cos it used to wake Ella up!!! She goes quiet when she hears them now, which I find very amusing!

And Eternal, Angel of mine cos that was the song me & Angus had our 1st dance to at our wedding.... We wanted Paul Weller, You do something to me but the DJ hadn't got it.....

Dido's 'Here with me' (playing on the radio the first time he went away - and I really felt like I couldn't breathe without him)

Dan Reed Network - Stronger than Steel (Got a friend to give me a CD with this on and put a note inside telling me to listen to the lyrics)

U2's Beautiful Day (played it me over the phone another time we were apart)

We had them all at the wedding - my mother was horrified and my sister said she expected us to kick a football back dowon the aisle (U2 as a Sky football anthem?)

Also - Kate Bush, The man with the child in his eyes (reminds me of my brother),  Leftfield, Born Slippy (Good times in Bosnia), Bare Naked Ladies, One Week (A very sunny opening day at Glastonbury) finally, cant remember the band but 'You've got the music in you' - a backing track to a Greenpeace advert that really made me want to join - it looked soooo exciting!!
