I want an everyday cook book for Xmas from the kids as I'm bored with doing the same things. Can anyone recommend a good one that isn't too fancy ? Thanks, xx.

I can't hunny. I know i have just ordered Kev the Gordan Ramsy fast food book. Its all really nice stuff that doesn't take forever to cook. If you get chance have a look through this and see what you think. If i can make it i know you can lol. xxxx

Delia smith is good for basics.

I love ken hom as i cook lots of chinese.

tana ramsey is really good for family food. In fact for what you want she is probably your best bet.

Dunno about books but Im really into watching Nigella's Christmas Kitchen atm - she will probs have a book in connection with the series.  I like Nigella cos she cooks like me - measurements just go oot the window!!  A couple of her recipes are definately worth a try!!
