I cried too although I knew it was going to happen. I do think it was a bit of an odd episode though as there had been no build up to it all felt kind of false. 34yrs Vera has been in Corrie won't be the same without her.

I actually thought it wasnt a very good ending for her at all i agree with you Sam about the abrupt ending! Btw i cry at everything so i was expecting to be in floods but it didnt at all :) poor vera

I thought the same at first, but then I thought it was more apt for Vera. It was a nice moment, she didn't really have massive scenes and I think a big fake 'heart attack' scene wouldn't have suited her. I think Jack played it well, but it must have been really hard for him they worked so close for so long. I think it would have been nicer if she didn't die alone, or if they did a bit extra with the 'Jack I love you, tell me you love me scenes'. A bit more reminising about their life on the street would have made it perfect for me xx
