Watched this movie the other evening after reading an excellent review in Empire magazine.

In a nutshell it's about a 13 yr old girl who wants to get together with the most popular girl at school.  It all goes wrong as she is lured into a world of sex, drugs and violence.  It is a very real film as I'm sure we have all wanted to 'fit in' when we were that age, but at what cost. 

Holly Hunter plays the mother, and I think she is absolutely brilliant.  What makes the film riveting is the mother and daughter relationship and how they pull through the hellish nightmare. 

Not recommended to those parents with teenagers!!  Only joking.

note to self:must go to the blockbuster down the road from school tomorrow to check out the latest films!

i really enjoyed this film would def recommend all though wen i watched it i didnt have ellen lol. I am so scared when she gets older.
