I've just finished a book in 2 days called "Can you keep a Secret?" by Sophie Kinsella.

It comes from the Shopaholic series and is the 1st book I've read out the series.  I highly recommend it to girly girls, it's a somewhat of a romantic story combined with everyday mishaps a girl has...

It was MIL that gave me it to read.  I havn't really had the time to read since Travis has been here but I made time for this book which says a lot!

Sophie Kinsella "Can you keep a secret"

Emma is like every girl int he world. She has a few secrets.

...Secrets from her mother:

1. I lost my virginity in the spare bedroom  to Danny Nussbaum while Mum and Dad were downtairs watching Ben Hur.

...From her boyfriend:

2. I'm a size twelve. Not a size eight, like Connor thinks.

3.  I've always thought that Connor looks like Ken.

As in Barbie and Ken.

...From her colleagues:

4.  When Artemis really annoys me, I feed her plant orange juice. (Which is pretty much everyday).

5.  It was me who jammed the copier that time. Infact, all the times.

...Secrets she wouldn't share with anyone in the world:

6.  My G string is hurting me.

7.  I faked my maths GCSE grade on my CV.

8.  I have no idea what NATO stands for. Or even what it is ...

...until she spills them all to a stranger on a plane.

At least she thought he was a stranger...

I have read them all and really enjoyed them. Her latest one is called the undomesticated godness and that was just as good as the shopaholic series.

David's  Mum is coming down tomorrow with that one!

I think they belong to David's sister.  I'm going to pay a visit to our local library tomorrow and see if they have any of the series in!

I love how Emma in the end has so much confidence and I feel like she's a whole new person.  She's "shed her skin" of her old life and she goes on with a smile and a better person.  I really liked her character!

I read the Shopaholic and sister one. Have never laughed so much at a book.

I'm not into these sorts of books, but I bought my mum the Shopaholic one and she loved it.

I read books for freaks!
