On a slightly lighter note than last nites programme

Anyone watching this on channel 4 - i think it look quite interesting

Foolwing 3 girls age 8,8 & 9 for a year competing to win a big competition (can u tell i was listening well at that bit lol)

If i had a dd id love her to be into dancing but i wouldnt push her if it wasnt her thing - saying that i wish my mum had pushed me more to do it cause id love to be able to dance

I saw this trailered earlier, and I have to say that it just looks weird. I've nothing against dancing, but all that make up and stress on very small children is just wrong. Dancing is fine, but a lot of these ballroom dances are quite intimate, and the outfits are just inappropriate for kids of that age. Maybe I'm wrong about the programme, but I'm not going to watch it cos I think it'll just annoy me!

I'm watching it! i wind dh up saying Ben' gonna be a dancer! Don't think I'd be as pushy as these though. And not sure I could afford it! Ben' loves watching all the dancing progs on telly though, and dances around the room! he's got great rythem too!

I hate all these pushy mums and dads.  An 8 year old caked in makeup isnt nice at all.  Fair enough a bit of glitter if they're dancing or something, but the whole cabbudle isn't nice.  I suppose it's the British equivilent of "Beauty pagents".

It may be a good programme though.

I thought the parents were a bit harsh & OTT at times

I didnt think there was anything raunchy or intimate about the junior dancing although it might change as they go into the older groups. I think disco dancing routines are far too raunchy for kids tho
