You just type a message and hit enter </P>

You can switch room by selecting another room where it says Go to: though you will find most people chatting in the ""Lobby"" as this is the default room. There are  also buttons there to view the chat log, add web links, insert smilies and mute the sound alerts, as well as being able to select your font colour and change the sound that alerts you to new messages.</P>
