Updating your profile

A few people have complained to me that they have had problems updating there members profile.</P>

I've tried to replicate this myself but have been unable to  I'd be grateful if someone who is experiencing this problem could help me track the bug down by giving me a more detailed error report.</P>

This is how...</P>

If you are using Internet Explorer and Windows, goto your control panel and open ""Internet Options"" select the Advanced tab from the top of the window that opens and then scroll down to the menu item ""Browsing"" under this in the list you will see something called ""Show friendly HTTP error messages"", take the tick out of this box and click Apply and close this window.</P>

Then try to update your profile and copy and paste the error message on the page.</P>

Making this changes will not effect your normal web browsing in anyway but it will help trace this bug.</P>

You can either choose a picture from quite a few that are already on the site by clicking  List Avatar and clicking one you like from the pop up window (there are several pages of them)  or you can upload your own personal one by clicking (wait for it) Upload Avatar . If you upload your own, you want to make sure it is as near to 64px x 64px (or at least square, or it will look distorted) and below 20kb in size.</P>

After you have made any changes, scroll to the bottom of the pages and click Update Profile.</P>
