My ds (9weeks) slept through the night all last week (for up to 12 hours). But for last 3 nights he's waking twice a night, he now has less time between night feeds than he did when he was really little. I could cope before but i'm out of the habit now and its really getting to me. I dont know how to get him back into the habit.

Sorry to go on but i'm exhausted, I feel like I've been awake all night (well I have most of it)

It's horrid isn't it Madz getting no sleep. Can you think of anything that has changed at all to unsettle him and make him wake up more? Have you tried dream feeding him before you go to bed and see if that helps him? Is he eating as much or wanting more during the day?

I have to say Ollie always wakes twice a night so when we get a bad night it makes it 4 or 5 times a night. Other than try and get some rest during the day which I never seem to manage to do or go to bed early I don't know what to suggest. I never manage to get to bed early either by the time I have Ollie in bed and done a few bits and pieces it's always 11pm. It doesn't last forever is the only consolation.

I asked my hv today when Oliver should sleep threw and go to bed at a set time as I can't remember how old the girls were. She said they don't call babies naughty until they are 6mnths old. By then they should regularly sleep threw the night and be going to bed at a set time. She adviced before then their pattern changes too much as the slightest thing can throw them ie teething or injections.
